From the first conversation with Chris and Haily, I just had a feeling they’d be two of my favorite people. Their energy, their chemistry, their kindness. The afternoon started with a walk down Ladybird Lake Trail and turned into evening with drinks their old hang spot, a laid back neighborhood bar. called Nickel City. Despite the persistence of the Texas summer sun – hours passed by effortlessly with these two. They honestly just had eyes for each other the entire time and when I told them I was there as their friend not just a photographer – they leaned into it and we kept it fun, adventurous and laid back.
